Host's project description
Eckart Meiburg is internationally respected for his work on Fluid Dynamics, especially in computational fluid dynamics and linear stability theory. His important contributions range from free shear flows, vortex breakdown, and particle-laden flows, to porous media displacements and the dynamics of turbidity currents. At the Max Planck Institute for
Dynamics and Self-Organization in Goettingen he will focus on viscous instabilities in microscale, miscible fluid flows, and their coupling
with electrokinetic phenomena.
